Hello my name is Alasdair, I am a wedding filmmaker, commercial video producer and photographer.
I live and breathe image making. If I’m not filming a happy couple on their wedding day, I’ll be in the the Peak District shooting landscapes or out on location across the country with a commercial client.
I love the aesthetic aspects of video production, hence why producing wedding films is such a passion for me because let’s face it, weddings are beautiful.
Wedding filmaking started for me after a number of years working commercially. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to film my friend’s wedding. I had never done it before and found the day a challenge but I loved it. The feedback I received from my first film blew me away and I realised that perhaps I’d got a knack for this so here I am today.
My approach to wedding filmmaking is to be as least intrusive as possible. I like my work to be as organic and natural therefore I would rather hang back to capture those little moments as they happen.
